Statement – Reaction to the broadcast “Dosije eks katedra: Lavirint”

The Serbian Association for Legal and Social Philosophy (IVR Serbia) expresses its deep concern regarding the broadcast entitled Dosije eks katedra: Lavirint, aired on August 18, 2025, on Informer TV. This was the second episode of a so-called documentary series produced by the Center for Social Stability, in which, according to their own announcement, “the exposure of abuses by certain university professors who allegedly use their positions for political purposes continues.”

In this broadcast, hate speech was directed against the academic community and its individual members, with particular reference to Professor Biljana Đorđević, a member of the Presidency of our Association. The program abounds in false claims, denigration, and rhetoric of hatred that cross the boundaries of acceptable public discourse, descending into the grotesque and the bizarre.

IVR Serbia expresses its strongest condemnation of the content of this broadcast, marked by unfounded accusations and the undermining of the dignity of the academic profession. At the same time, we extend our solidarity to Biljana Đorđević and to all members of the academic community who have been subjected to such unacceptable public attacks.

Our organization remains firmly committed to the values of reasoned and responsible debate, the protection of academic integrity, and mutual respect.
